Sundowners on the Zambezi River are an essential start to a holiday in Victoria Falls. Each day the HMV Makumbi, the party boat of note, departs from the Waterfront jetty for a sunset cruise up the Zambezi, which includes all drinks and snacks, returning as night falls.

Day 1: Meet & Greet /Transfer to Cresta Golfview Hotel – Lusaka
When you arrive at Lusaka International Airport, you will be met by our representative, who will assist you with your luggage and transfer to you to Cresta Golfview hotel. Check in and relax, later in the evening, have dinner and bed time at your convenience.
Day 2: Flight to Mfuwe International Airport – South Luangwa National Park
Breakfast is served, check out and you will be transferred to the Airport for your flight to Mfuwe. Upon arrival at Mfuwe, you will be welcomed by the Mfuwe Lodge’s Guide, and you will be transferred to Mfuwe Lodge. Check in and later you will have lunch, then free time to relax. Later in the afternoon you will have afternoon tea/coffee followed by the afternoon and night game drive returning to the lodge in time for dinner and bedtime.
Day 3 & 4: Mfuwe Lodge – South Luangwa National Park
Morning breakfast is served, and followed by a morning activity which is either a walking safari or a game drive, after that you will get back to the lodge for lunch. Have time to rest and relax, enjoy the sounds of nature around you at the lodge. Later in the afternoon you will be served with afternoon tea/coffee followed by the amazing afternoon/night game drive returning to the lodge almost in time for dinner then later bed time at your convenient time.
Day 5: Transfer to Mfuwe Airport/ Flight to Lusaka International Airport
Breakfast is served first, then a morning game drive, return to the lodge to check out and then you will be transferred to Mfuwe Airport for your flight to Lusaka.
When you arrive at Lusaka International Airport, you will be met by our representative who will assist you with your luggage and then take you on a 3 hours adventurous transfer through the city of Lusaka to Kiambi Safari Lodge in Lower Zambezi.
Check in at Kiambi lodge and depending on your time of arrival, you will have lunch, relax and enjoy the view of the river, and the lodge’s facilities in general. Later in the evening you will have diner then bed time at your convenient time.
Day 6: Full Day Game Drive – Lower Zambezi National Park
This is 10 hours game viewing activities and your day starts early with tea/coffee, and the guide will have your breakfast and lunch packed. You will go on a sunrise cruise down stream where you will find a 4×4 open sided safari vehicle awaiting, pay your park entry fee and begin your game viewing. Later have your breakfast and continue your adventure, and then break for lunch. After lunch relax, and continue with your game drive before you make a return to the boat that takes you back to the lodge before dark. Have dinner and bedtime at your convenience.
Day 7: 3hrs Guided Canoe Safari & Sunset Boat Cruise – Lower Zambezi
Breakfast is served, and then around 9am you will be picked for your 3hrs Guided Canoe Safari trip; your guide will give you the safety briefing and then you will be picked by a motor boat to a point where you will start canoeing downstream and then return to the lodge almost in time for lunch and free time to relax.
Later in the afternoon at about 3.45pm you will go out for the Sunset Boat Cruise viewing amazing African sunset , wildlife such as hippo , crocodiles , elephants and lots of birds and return before dark, order some drinks from the bar and enjoy some bar snacks, dinner is served with the wonderful view of the river and sky and then bed time at your convenient time.
Day 8: Transfer to Lusaka International Airport/Flight to Livingstone
Breakfast is served, check out and our driver will be ready to transfer you to Lusaka International Airport, for your connect flight to Livingstone international Airport.
Upon arrival at Livingstone International Airport, you will be met by our representative who will assist you with your luggage and transfer you to Victoria Falls Water Front Lodge.
Check in and then relax, you will then have lunch and free afternoon to relax and enjoy the facilities the Lodge or spend time viewing the river. Later you will have dinner and bedtime at your convenient time.
Day 9: Guided Tour Falls (Zimbabwe /Zambia) & Sunset Boat Cruise
Breakfast is served, then you be picked up for the Victoria Falls Guided Tour on Zimbabwe and Zambia Side to explore this natural wonder of the world, then you will be dropped back at the lodge for lunch and free time to relax. Later Around 4 pm, you will go for a Sunset Boat Cruise – enjoy this amazing activity with some complementary sundowner drinks and snacks while enjoying the amazing wildlife such as Elephants, Crocodiles, Hippos and lots of birds. Then later you will be dropped at the lodge, before your dinner time and bed time follows.
Day 10: Transfer to Livingstone International Airport
Morning Breakfast is served first, then you will later check out of the lodge and our driver will transfer you to Livingstone International Airport at least two hours before your flight time.
