Adjoining Zambia and Zimbabwe, the Victoria Falls is also identified as the Mosi-oa-Tunya,  meaning “the smoke that thunders” as referred to by the Kolobo Tribe inhabiting in the area in the 1800’s. Towers of spray can be viewed from miles away as water per minute plummet over the border at the height of the flood season over a diameter of nearly 2 km into a ravine over 100 meters beneath. The Victoria Falls Bridge, named by Cecil John Rhodes in 1900 provides a magnificent view both down the gorge on one side and into to the Falls on the other side as well as the place of the bungee jumping, a must for the adrenaline junkies!

Tangala House

Tangala House is a family home on the banks of the Zambezi River. Designed with family use in mind, the house comes with a 13m private swimming pool and gym. Tangala holds four bedrooms, three with en-suite bathrooms and king-sized beds. The designed and furnished house has feature comes with a vehicle and boat, a chef, waiters, and a private guide. –

The Experience: Perfect for a Zambia family safari, Tangala House sleeps up to six and has a children’s playroom and a large kitchen and dining room. The rooms are included, with great glass fitted windows to keep insects out and allow guests to enjoy beautiful views beyond the Zambezi. Living room possesses a large sofa and two armchairs and leads to a satellite TV, video, Wi-Fi and Jet master and a fireplace. Utmost of the rooms have very high thatch covers, and the passages feature 3-4m high Moroccan arches, with 1m thick walls.

The swimming pool, with an additional shallow area for children and benches for seating.  the house has a grass lawn leads to 250m of private river frontage. with no neighbors on either side and Tangala also has people and a friendly dog called Luna. The veranda undoubtedly seats ten and is open roofing with steps onto the lawn, next to the swimming pool and the platform, which has an eight-seat railway sleeper picnic table.

Tangala House is ready to reserve over the Easter and Christmas Holidays, plus June, July, and August. Other dates throughout the year are possible on offer only. There is a least stay of three nights for safari holidays and a minimum occupancy of four people.

The main double-story lodge building faces the game park on the opposite bank and the Zambezi River. The lounge is open to the occupied with comfortable chairs, brilliant views, books, and an exceptional group of old African maps.
