The Lower Zambezi National Park is a gap in earth shell, where the Mighty waters of the Zambezi River flow, bringing beauty to the view of wildlife both around the water and on land. With the abundance of water, bears the water activities such as canoe and boat safaris right on the Zambezi River itself the highlights are the Canoe safari which is a must-do activity in Lower Zambezi.
The Mighty Victoria Falls allows you the experience of soothing nature around its water body, combined with the transformation of water from a ragging and angry flow to a calm and racing one, all through the gorges, this view of falling water will take your breath away. Most of the area along the Zambezi River adds to the formation of the rainforest reserve, which makes way for the beautiful view of Victoria Falls.

The Itinerary
Day 1
Meet & Greet /Cresta Golfview Hotel, Lusaka
When you arrive at Lusaka International Airport, you will be met by our representative, who will assist you with your luggage and transfer you to Cresta Golfview hotel where you will overnight for dinner, bed and breakfast. Check-in and relax, later in the evening, and have dinner and bedtime at your convenience.
Day 2
Flight to Mfuwe (South Luangwa)
Breakfast is served, check out and you will be transferred to Lusaka Airport in time for your flight to Mfuwe. Upon arrival at Mfuwe, you will be welcomed by the Mfuwe Lodge’s Guide, and you will be transferred to Mfuwe Lodge.
Check-in and then depending on your arrival time you will have lunch, then free time to relax. Later in the afternoon, you will have afternoon tea/coffee followed by the afternoon and night game drive, you will start with the afternoon game viewing then after sundowner you will look for nocturnal animals before returning to the lodge in time for dinner and bedtime.
Day 3 & 4
Explore South Luangwa National Park
You will start your day with breakfast first followed by a morning activity which is either a walking safari or a game drive, after that you will get back to the lodge almost in time for lunch.
At the lodge, take some time to relax and listen to the sounds of nature. Afternoon tea/coffee will be served, followed by an afternoon and night game drive. The afternoon game drive will begin with afternoon game watching, and the following sundowner, you will then get into night game drive searching for nocturnal creatures before returning to the lodge in time for dinner and bedtime.
Day 5
Transfer to Lower Zambezi
Breakfast will be served first, followed by a morning game drive, check-out, and transfer to Mfuwe Airport for your departure to Lusaka.
When you arrive at Lusaka International Airport, our representative will greet you and assist you with your bags before taking you on a 3-hour adventure via Lusaka to Kiambi Safari Lodge in the Lower Zambezi.
Check into Kiambi Lodge, then lunch and free time to relax, you can as well enjoy the view of the river and the lodge’s facilities in general. Later in the evening, you will have dinner and then go to bed at your leisure.
Day 6
Lower Zambezi NP Full Day Game Drive
This is a 10-hour game viewing activity, and your day will begin with tea or coffee, and your breakfast and lunch will be provided by the guide. You’ll take a morning boat cruise downstream, where a 4×4 open-sided safari vehicle will be ready for you, pay park fees then start your game drive.
After breakfast, continue your adventure before taking a break for lunch. Relax after lunch and continue your game drive before returning to the boat and returning to the lodge before dark. Back at the lodge, freshen up then dinner is severed followed by bedtime at your convenience.
Day 7
Guided Canoe Safari & Sunset Boat Cruise
Breakfast is served, and then you’ll be picked up around 9 a.m. for your 3-hour Guided Canoe Safari trip; your guide will give you a safety briefing, and then you’ll be picked up by a motorboat to a point where you’ll begin canoeing downstream, returning to the lodge almost in time for lunch and free time to relax.
Later in the afternoon, around 3.45 pm, you will go on a Sunset Boat Cruise to see an amazing African sunset, as well as wildlife such as hippo, crocodiles, elephants, and a variety of birds, and return before dark to order drinks and bar snacks, dinner will be served with a beautiful view of the river and sky, and bedtime will be at your leisure.
Day 8
Flight from Lusaka to Livingstone
Breakfast is served, and then you’ll be transferred to Lusaka Intl airport in time for your flight to Livingstone. When you arrive at Livingstone Intl airport our representative will welcome you and transfer you to The Victoria Falls Waterfront Lodge.
You will check in and depending on your arrival time , you will have the rest of the afternoon/evening at leisure. Later in the evening dinner will be served before bed time.
Day 9
Guided Tour Falls & Sunset Boat Cruise
Breakfast is served, then you be picked up for the Victoria Falls Guided Tour on Zambia Side to explore this natural wonder of the world, then you will be dropped back at the lodge for lunch and free time to relax.
Later Around 4 pm, you will go for a Sunset Boat Cruise – enjoy this amazing activity with some complimentary sundowner drinks and snacks while enjoying the amazing wildlife such as Elephants, Crocodiles, Hippos and lots of birds. Then later you will be dropped at the lodge before your dinner time and bedtime follows.
Day 10
Departure
Morning Breakfast is served first, then you will later check out of the lodge and our driver will transfer you to Livingstone International Airport at least two hours before your flight time.
