The Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Lusaka & Flight to Mfuwe
Upon your arrival at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka, you will be welcomed by our representative who will assist you in boarding a domestic flight to Mfuwe, the gateway to South Luangwa National Park. On arrival, you will be met by your guide from Njobvu Safari Lodge for a scenic transfer to the lodge. After settling into your accommodations, enjoy a delicious dinner and prepare for an incredible safari experience ahead.
Day 2&3
Discover South Luangwa National Park
Spend your days exploring the renowned South Luangwa National Park. Mornings begin with hearty breakfasts before heading out on thrilling game drives to encounter wildlife such as lions, leopards, elephants, and more. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoons, embark on game drives or optional activities such as walking safaris, offering an intimate perspective of the park’s flora and fauna. Dinner awaits in the evenings, accompanied by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 4
Flight to Lusaka & Transfer to Kiambi Safari Lodge
After breakfast and a final morning game drive, check out from Njobvu Safari Lodge and transfer to Mfuwe Airport for your domestic flight back to Lusaka. Upon arrival, our representative will transfer you to Kiambi Safari Lodge in the Lower Zambezi, a scenic 3-hour drive. Check in to your spacious chalet and enjoy dinner with panoramic views of the Zambezi River.
Day 5
Canoe Safari & Sunset Boat Cruise
Begin your day with breakfast overlooking the river, followed by a serene canoe safari along the Zambezi. Paddle through calm waters, encountering hippos, crocodiles, and an array of birdlife. After lunch at the lodge, enjoy leisure time before embarking on a sunset boat cruise, where the golden hues of the river provide the perfect backdrop for wildlife sightings. Conclude your day with a gourmet dinner under the stars.
Day 6
Full-Day Game Drive in Lower Zambezi National Park
After an early breakfast, venture out on a full-day game drive in Lower Zambezi National Park. Start with a motorboat transfer to the Chongwe Confluence, where a safari vehicle will be waiting. Spend the day exploring the park’s diverse habitats, spotting elephants, buffalo, and other wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before returning to the lodge in the late afternoon. After freshening up, enjoy a relaxing dinner by the river.
Day 7
Scenic Road Transfer To Livingstone
After breakfast, check out from Kiambi Safari Lodge and embark on a scenic 8hr transfer to Livingstone. Upon arrival at Waterfront Lodge, located along the banks of the Zambezi River, you will check in and spend the rest of the day at leisure, taking in the stunning views of the river. Dinner will be served at the lodge’s riverside restaurant.
Day 8
Guided Tour of Victoria Falls & Sunset Boat Cruise
Start your day with breakfast before heading out on a guided tour of the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Learn about the history, geology, and local myths surrounding this magnificent site. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before embarking on a sunset boat cruise on the Zambezi River. Watch as the sun dips below the horizon, casting golden hues across the water, and enjoy sightings of wildlife along the riverbanks. Dinner will be served at the lodge.
Day 9
Game Drive in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park
After breakfast, venture out on a game drive in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. This park is home to Zambia’s only population of white rhinos, offering a unique opportunity to spot these majestic creatures alongside other wildlife such as zebras and giraffes. Return to the lodge for lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure, enjoying the lodge’s amenities or relaxing by the river. Conclude your day with a farewell dinner at the lodge.
Day 10
Departure
After a final breakfast at Waterfront Lodge, check out and transfer to Livingstone Airport where you will connect to your international flight, taking with you unforgettable memories of Zambia’s wilderness and natural wonders.
