The Itinerary
Dayy 1
Arrival in Lusaka - Flight to South Luangwa National Park
Upon arrival at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka, you will be welcomed by our representative and assisted with your scheduled domestic flight to Mfuwe Airport in South Luangwa National Park.
On arrival in Mfuwe, you will be met by your safari guide and transferred into the remote southern sector of South Luangwa to Nkonzi Camp, a journey that offers your first introduction to Zambia’s incredible wilderness landscapes.
After check-in, settle into your tented accommodation and relax before dinner is served around the campfire under the African night sky.
Days 2 - 4
Explore South Luangwa National Park - Nkonzi Camp
Spend three full days exploring the remote and wildlife-rich areas of South Luangwa National Park with expert safari guides.
Nkonzi Camp is positioned far from the busier sections of the park, giving you access to untouched safari areas where few vehicles are encountered. Activities include morning and afternoon game drives, guided walking safaris, and immersive bush experiences designed around wildlife movements and guest interests.
Early mornings often begin with tea or coffee before heading into the bush as the park comes alive. Breakfasts may be enjoyed around a campfire in scenic wilderness locations while surrounded by the sounds of nature.
South Luangwa is famous for its high concentration of wildlife, including leopard, lion, elephant, buffalo, giraffe, hippo, crocodile, and numerous antelope species, as well as exceptional birdlife. Night drives may also reveal nocturnal species rarely seen during the day.
Back at camp, relax in your private outdoor lounge area or enjoy the peaceful atmosphere beneath mature riverine trees. Evenings conclude with candlelit dinners and spectacular stargazing beneath one of Africa’s clearest night skies.

Day 5
Flight to Lower Zambezi - Transfer to Chula Island Camp
After breakfast and a final morning activity (time permitting), transfer back to Mfuwe Airport for your scheduled domestic flight to Lusaka, followed by your connecting flight to Jeki Airstrip in the Lower Zambezi Valley.
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by the camp team and transferred by boat to Chula Island Camp, beautifully positioned along the Zambezi River.
After check-in, relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings before dinner is served.
Day 6
Explore the Lower Zambezi - Chula Island Camp
Spend the day enjoying safari activities within the Lower Zambezi ecosystem. The flexible safari schedule allows activities to be tailored to guest interests and current wildlife movements.
Activities available include:

The Lower Zambezi is renowned for its scenic river landscapes, abundant wildlife, and relaxed safari atmosphere. Elephants, hippos, buffalo, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species are commonly seen along the riverbanks.
Day 7
Transfer to Kutali Camp - Lower Zambezi
Today you will transfer deeper into the Lower Zambezi Valley to Kutali Camp, an intimate safari camp set in a remote wilderness area overlooking the Zambezi River.
The transfer itself forms part of the adventure, offering opportunities to view wildlife and appreciate the changing landscapes of the valley.
After settling into camp, enjoy lunch and relaxation before heading out on an afternoon safari activity.
Day 8
Explore the Lower Zambezi - Kutali Camp
Enjoy a full day exploring the Lower Zambezi National Park and surrounding river systems. Activities are flexible and may include game drives, walking safaris, canoeing, or boat-based game viewing.
This region is known for close wildlife encounters, beautiful open floodplains, winterthorn forests, and breathtaking views across the Zambezi River toward the mountains of Zimbabwe.
Return to camp in the evening for your final dinner in the bush.
Day 9
Departure
After breakfast, transfer back to Jeki Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Lusaka, where you will connect with your onward international departure flight, marking the end of your unforgettable Zambia safari adventure.
