The Itinerary
Day 1
Meet and Greet – Transfer to Mwamfushi Safari Lodge
You will be picked up by our driver, followed by a scenic 5-hour road transfer to Mwamfushi Safari Lodge via Mumbwa. Upon arrival, check into your comfortable deluxe chalet and take time to unwind while enjoying the natural surroundings. Depending on your time of arrival, you can choose to embark on a relaxing boat cruise along the Kafue River or a night game drive to spot wildlife. This is a perfect opportunity to see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birds and wildlife while soaking in the stunning sunset views. Return to camp for a delicious dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2&3
Exploring Kafue National Park on Daily Activities
You will have two full days to explore Kafue National Park. Start your day with an early breakfast, then embark on activities of your choice. Available options include game drives, nature walks, fishing (catch and release), or boat cruises.
After your activity, return to the lodge for lunch, followed by relaxation and an afternoon tea break. Later, embark on an afternoon activity of your choice before returning to the lodge for dinner and bedtime.
Day 4
Departure
After a final breakfast, check out and bid farewell to Mwamfushi Safari Lodge. Depart on about 5hour road transfer back to Lusaka Intl Airport with lasting memories of your time in Kafue National Park.
